Breaking up really sucks. Emotionally, it can be draining. It’s normal to want to know if your ex misses you or has second thoughts about the breakup. Especially if you there weren’t any signs leading to a breakup. These clues might help you figure out if he wants you back.
Contact - If your ex didn’t want you back, he would do anything he can to avoid you. One thing he can do if he wants you back, he would contact you through mutal friends or directly. Your ex might contact you by trying to get their belongings back from you but they might just use that as a cover story to see you. If they keep contacting you for unimportant reasons, the more they want you back. If he is calling “just to talk” than he is more interested in you than getting his T-shirt back. If he is just contacting you to express his feelings, he still may not be ready to let you go just yet. Love and anger can be similar. It just means they still have feelings for you if they send you an email filled with anger, those feelings can be changed back to love.
Rebound Relationships -They might just be dating to make you jealous. So how can you tell he’s dating someone just to make you jealous or he’s moved on? You can tell by how hard he tries to make sure you know he is dating someone else. You might not want to hear it, and your ex knows that, so if he’s making it obvious he’s trying to make you jealous, he most likely wants you back. I know people that have taken it to the extreme and get married just to prove to their ex they are still desirable. Those relationships end pretty bad because they’re not based on love.
He Tries to Impress You - If he shows off in front of you in some form, that is a good sign wants you back . Has he mentioned that he got a new car or job or personal style? If so, he is trying to .
What I’m trying to tell you is that you need to be able to read signs that he wants you back . He isn’t going to directly say he wants you back, so you have to read these signs well because hewouldn’t want to make the first move. Pay attention more on what he is doing and not what he is saying. You know that expression, “actions speak louder than words”. If the words coming out of his mouth are different from his actions, I don’t care if he’s dating a supermodel, he wants you back.
